Munster Rugby stars light up Summer Camp
Munster Rugby Summer Camp a huge hit in Killarney
This week’s Munster Rugby Summer Camp, taking place on the grounds of St. Brendan’s College is really proving to be a huge hit in Killarney. With almost 70 children aged between 5 and 12 taking part, the pitches are absolutely buzzing. The kids are enjoying the fun and games, making new friends and learning new skills to boot!
Yesterday Munster Rugby and Ireland stars Jack O’Donoghue and Dave Kilcoyne paid a visit to the camp to check on the progress and were very impressed with the skills on show.
A question and answer session took place. There were some excellent rugby related questions asked, however the most popular questions centered around the size of the TV’s the players had and what games they liked on the PlayStation! And Dave Kilcoyne’s flip flops!
Thankfully the weather held up as the Munster players and the Summer Camp attendees had a run around and a game of tag. Mayhem ensued and it was great to see the kids enjoying themselves in the stunning sunshine.
Well done to all the kids who are taking part in the summer camp and a huge thanks to Ray, Denis, John, Sean and all the hard working coaches.
