Killarney RFC are hosting a fundraising golf classic on Friday, the 12th of August next. The fundraising classic will take place at the world famous golf course at Mahony’s Point.
In order to promote the forthcoming classic, our Under 12’s coach turned his eye to his amazing video production skills to make a hilarious video. The video shows a budding golfer (who looks very familiar) receiving some good advice from his caddie (who also looks very familiar!). The important shot needs to clear the rugby goalposts and the pundits are watching the footage using the shot tracker. However as the celebrations following the fantastic shot take place, the lads a bulldozed by a fantastic rugby tackle. This is a hilarious video and sure to go viral as the club look to promote the classic.
Anyone looking to play in the golf classic should contact any member of the club or Paul Murphy on 087-3745351 or Liam McGuire on 086-2370865. A fantastic days golf is assured and there will be a ‘Hole-in-one’ competition, closest the pin as well as a longest drive competitions on the day, to add to the fun. Tees are on a timetabled start and there are great prizes on offer as well as great food available on the day.
So, come on, get out and support your club on this important fundraiser!

Best of luck to our U16 boys who are away to Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne in the rescheduled semifinal of the U16 West Munster Cup this Sunday morning, the 14th of April. Kick off in Ballydavid is at 12pm and all support very welcome. Best of luck to all players, coaches and team management.
