Wolfhounds:

This Friday night at 7:45pm Musgrave park in Cork re-opens after refurbishment to host Ireland Wolfhounds v England Saxons in their Championship opener. The old venue’s new look is sure to draw a big crowd.

U14s:

Killarney 24 Killorglin 23 – in a thrilling encounter coaches Dominic Kiely and Richard Carey managed their stalwarts to a tee when they gave everyone a good run out against a very tough and plucky Killorglin side. Going down 2 tries and a penalty goal to nil to some fine running rugby by Killorglin the home side looked in grave danger of being hammered. Richard Wallace started the resurgence with a fine first half try. Killarney made a few changes at half time and Sean Murphy scored twice to bring the two sides on parity. Killorglin took the lead and then at the death Conor Sheahan scored a real class try. Cian Murphy capped a fine kicking display too with a conversion and Sean converted another. The home side got home by the narrowest margin. A fine sporting game thrilled the parents on the sideline.
