Killarney RFC present: the Reboot Bin!
A brand new initiative from KRFC to help reduce costs and help keep our growing kids in boots, whatever the age!
Our ‘Leave a pair, Take a pair’ scheme is now up and running. We have a dedicated press (The Reboot Bin) located outside the Clubhouse.
We know children grow so fast, and literally run through boot sizes faster than Keith Earls running up the wing! So to ease the burden, we feel this initiative could benefit many.
Boots dropped off must be in good clean and dry condition. If a boot is missing laces and studs thats ok. We will also take laces and studs from boots beyond use for our boot clinic.
When dropping boots simply leave your name and contact no and size boots you need in return, if you want to take a pair. All boots will be steamed and sanitised and fit for use.
Simply drop off your old boots at any training session or contact Anne 0863125722 for details.
Also if you have any used club gear which is no longer being used, you can donate these too.
Thanks to Ray Gadsen and Euan Gee of Munster Rugby who attended our Minis training this morning at Aghadoe. They spent time with each age group and the kids enjoyed the fun.
A huge thanks too to our own amazing coaches who work tirelessly with the kids and are doing a wonderful job each week!
The @irishrugby Youth Council have developed a survey aimed at those aged 14-24, to find out more about their experiences of the pandemic. The responses will be collated to form a document to aid clubs in the retention and recruitment of players ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Our fantastic U14’s boys returned to training last week and the lads and coaches are absolutely delighted to be back to rugby! Our Minis are back:
A very well done to all of our fantastic Minis who were back training this morning after the extended break since before Christmas.
We had a wonderful turnout in beautiful sunshine this morning as faces old and new played some wonderful rugby on our stunning pitches at Aghadoe.
Very well done to all our players and a huge welcome back and thanks to our awesome coaches, who ensure that great fun was had by one and all!
The National Park is what gives Killarney it’s identity. It’s amazing to be standing in Aghadoe looking over to our park.
