U14 Girls host Dunmanway/Bantry in friendly

 In Club

Very well done to our U14 girls, who gave a spirited performance yesterday at home against Dunmanway/Bantry despite the bad weather. A big thanks to our supporters who cheered on the girls while braving the elements. Also, thanks to the parents for supplying and serving the refreshments after the game.

Thanks too to a very sporting Dunmanway/Bantry team for the game. Win, lose or draw these friendlies are great for the development of players especially those who are playing for the first time.

Thanks to coach TJ Brosnan and his assistants. Finally, thank you to all the girls who played today. In bad conditions it’s hard to be skillful but both teams demonstrated grit and determination and a positive performance was given by both teams.

Next Saturday the girls are away to Skibbereen in the first round of the U14 league. Kick off is at 12pm. Good luck all!
