Last Tuesday, ten Killarney RFC coaches took part in First Aid Training. As the club grows and we welcome newer coaches to the club, it’s vital to help these coaches as well as current highly experienced coaches develop the skills needed. Last September, 12 coaches took part inthe 2 day Munster Rugby Coaching Course in Tralee and the first aid is the next logical setp in coach development.
The training took part at Scott’s Hotel and we would like to thank Maurice O’Donoghue for the use of the room. A huge thank you to Ceire McCarthy of First Aid First, who provided excellent first aid training to the coaches on the night. The coaches thoroughly enjoyed the training. Well done to everyone who took part.
