Minis Enjoy Blitz in Tralee

Last Saturday our Minis travelled to O’Dowd Park for matches and a fantastic day was had by all. Our U8, U10 and U12 braved the poor weather, arriving at 09:45am with matches kicking of at 10am. They displayed some fantastic skills with some excellent rugby on display and thoroughly enjoyed their morning taking on our friends from Tralee. The U8, U10 and U12 boys ignored the cold and wet to enthrall the fantastic support who were on hand to witness our future stars in action and it was great to see all the hard work to date shine through.

Our U12 girls took part in 3 matches against their Tralee counterparts and it was great to see girls rugby to the fore as both teams played some lovely flowing rugby, making some really excellent tackles and having great fun too!

Thanks to each and every player who represented the Black and Red army with pride, the parents for traveling and huge support and our awesome coaches for looking after their charges on the day.

Thanks to our Tralee RFC Minis for hosting us and a special word of thanks for the wonderful hospitality afterwards. With the bad weather easing, the goodies were well and truly deserved and thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
