West Munster Minis Blitz – A Huge Success!

On Saturday last our Minis hosted Castleisland RFC, Iveragh Eagles and Tralee RFC in the first of a series of blitzes scheduled for Mini rugby this season.

With over 200 kids from under 6 to under 12 years of age taking part, Aghadoe was a hive of activity and for once this year the weather played its part.

Great credit is due to all who helped on the day to park cars, organise teams, prepare pitches, ref matches, erect marquee and provide an excellent array of hot and cold food and goodies for all parents and players on the day.

Thanks to our players and coaches and thanks also to all visiting teams and coaches your effort and participation makes days like these the successful events that they are.

While the underfoot conditions were wet and heavy this did not deter great rugby and some brilliant displays from all kids on the day. The future of rugby in West Munster is looking very bright!
