Last Saturday, some of our U18 Munster League champions came up to Aghadoe to chat to our U12 girls, taking part in a lively Questions and Answers session. The Cup was also the guest of honour and the younger girls were thrilled to get to hold the cup.
The Munster Champions were asked how long they are playing rugby, what age they started at, how it felt to be champions and other varied questions. It was amazing to watch the younger girls faces light up when they saw the cup and to watch our older girls truly inspire the next generation.
Thanks to Fia, Ali and all the girls for popping up and best of luck to one and all in the Munster Cup from all the U12 girls!
This years Girls only ‘Give It A Try’ programme kicks off on this evening the 23rd of April next at Aghadoe, running for 8 weeks. Aimed at introducing girls aged between 8 and 14 years of age to rugby, fun is guaranteed during this fantastic 8 week programme devised by the IRFU.
