U18.5s qualify for last eight of Munster Cup

The story so far…..

The U18s went through the initial west Munster conference with only a single loss and recording wins over local rivals Tralee/Castleisland, Killorglin, Kanturk, and Charleville in the process. Although starting the Cup group stage with a bad home defeat, they rallied with 4 successive wins to qualify comfortably for the last eight of the Munster Cup.

What’s next….

Their reward is an away quarter final against Waterpark (of Waterford) on the weekend of 03/04 March. It is a great thing for us to say that these lads are – at a minimum – one of the top 8 rugby team in Munster for their age group. They are a credit to themselves, their families, and the club.

We are looking forward to the quarter final and hope to see as many as possible there to cheer them on – notwithstanding the fact that this is a long trip
